Although IRICE specializes in biodiversity, we are also involved in assessing overall environmental performance as part of BREEAM. We bring our independent expertise to bear on all BREEAM criteria, based on a structured and rigorous process.
💡 BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is a British certification that assesses a building's overall environmental performance, covering various criteria such as energy management, water management, indoor air quality, and of course, biodiversity.
Why does IRICE work on BREEAM?
IRICE acts as an organization independent evaluator to provide a complete and rigorous analysis of projects for certification purposes BREEAM. We work on all aspects of the environment, including biodiversity, energy, water, waste management and overall environmental impact.
This intervention reinforces the credibility of the BREEAM approach, by ensuring a transparent, impartial and objective assessment, in line with regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
A precise, objective assessment mission
Our role as a BREEAM assessor is to :
✔ Verify compliance with commitments made by project management teams,
✔ Provide expertise on all ecological aspects (biodiversity, site management, environmental impact, etc.),

We do not issue BREEAM certification.. On the contrary, our role is to provide our expertise to guarantee the rigor and quality of environmental assessment, in particular by reinforcing the ecological aspects of certification.Â
